AITANA DE LA SIERRA AVILA

AITANA DE LA SIERRA AVILA

Sire: Spain Ch. Esclat de Costa Seros

Dam: Spain Ch. Melqarts Luna Nueva

I am Aitana de Sierra de Avila (Spanish Import) miss Anna Banana (the extra name I was given :) because of being so Funny and Silly :)
I had my first show today at the tender age of eight months. I thought I was very gracious in the ring and I tried to Hop around :) like a Wild Pony since my mom does Agility with me. :) She was telling me easy, easy. For a trade off I stood still like a soldier at The White House, but for your eyes only - at a distance please........but don't get close to me, or I will bunny hop backwards. :) Mama's fast thinking kept her stuffing Red Barn in my mouth and the greatest things happens when I get my treat. :) I forget completely that this stranger wanted to examine me inch by inch including my teeth :)
The end result was my taking a 3 point major with Anna Banana's Special Charm. :) The judge just could not resist me, that's how adorable I am! During the time I was on the show grounds I could not take five steps more because of people stopping me and giving me compliments on what a awesome looking dog I am! Some of them did not even know what breed I was, and these are breed people! Most of them know how an Ibizan hound look like when in a smooth coat, but they did not know that Ibizans comes with my "type of coat".
An interesting thing happened in the ring........I was the class dog, so I was at the end of the line with Pat, who is my mom's friend. She is nice girl but this was first time I met her and she was trying to control me. I had the lovely well behaved Champions in front of me and my mentor Jillian and mama.
Eva was the first one in the line up. We all start to run and I wanted to take the fastest short cut to mama Eva and mentor Jillian, so I was pulling really hard. The judge took a look at me and he really wanted to give me a chance......he read my mind that I just want to trot after my mom Eva and Jillian. When the judge moved me behind mama Eva and Jillian, everyone watching got really confused since there is no BOS boys here, keep in mind. Well, you can image me trotting behind mentor Jillian and mama Eva! I showed my spectacular suspended trot - side movement you just could not ignore!!!! You should see mama Eva's face when the judge pointed to ME, Anna Banana for Best of Breed! She was shocked, because we all thought my mentor Jillian was going to be BOB.....or one of her Lovely Competitors!
