 We have been successfully breeding,
showing and training IG'S and Boxers since 1979. My
commitment is always to produce dogs with the best
temperaments ever with a very healthy body and mind! The
beauty follows naturally on a sound body and a beautiful
head piece with eyes full of intelligence and expression!I have always admired the unique look of Ibizan Hound and after reading Francisco Balana's fascinating little book about Ibizan Hounds in Spain, I knew one day I would own one of these Master Hunters! I wanted to get my first Ibizan, the "original" dog from Spain, since in it's native country the Wire Hair Ibizan Hounds are strictly bred for function and performance. The most important things for the breed in Spain are, the intelligence and drive of the dog for work and trainability, willingness to please and to obey master's commands; followed with healthy, sound body for years to come. Dogs like this are a complete hunter who willingly and proudly bring their prey to his master ideally alive with no harm. In Spain this has been perfected for hundred's of years. Dogs who excel these qualities, will be very suitable for any kind of dog sports, just as lure coursing, agility, obedience, tracking even search and rescue or just to be your fun loving, devoted companion. |
